1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and connect.gs (“connect.gs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the connect.gs website, web application, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
connect.gs provides a visual builder that generates, deploys, and helps you manage Google Apps Script automations that run within your own Google account. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
- The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time; changes take effect according to your billing cycle.
- Fees are processed by our third-party payment provider, and you authorize the applicable charges.
- Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable. Any refund terms we offer will be described at the point of purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or otherwise violate the policies of Google or any third party.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law.
6. Google Workspace and third-party services
The Service integrates with Google APIs and may interact with other third-party services. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. The automations you build run within your own Google account and are subject to Google Apps Script quotas and limitations. You are responsible for the workflows you create and for ensuring they comply with applicable terms and laws. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
7. Your content and workflows
You retain ownership of the data, configurations, and workflows you create using the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to use Your Content with the Service.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by connect.gs and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission. Code generated for your workflows is yours to use within your account.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or limit the Service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that automations will run without interruption, error, or loss of data.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, connect.gs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold connect.gs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Automations already deployed to your Google account remain in your account; access to edit and manage them through connect.gs ends when your account is terminated.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which connect.gs operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
